I'm a UX designer with a passion for integrating innovative design practices with accessibility to create intuitive experiences usable by wide audiences.
I've worked as a researcher in cognitive psychology -- a UX researcher and designer across healthcare and commerce applications -- and as an accessibility expert leading digital agency work across UX, CX, and Engineering teams.
As a first generation American raised in a bicultural household amid diverse communities, I am dedicated to understanding the needs and perceptions of diverse user groups and advocating on their behalf in business and design spaces.
Coming from backgrounds in Biology and Cognitive Psychology, my passions in UX design center around the biological systems involved in perceiving and interacting with an experience, and the psychological elements involved in interpreting it.
When working on design challenges and solving problems I am interested in analyzing the intersection of user contexts and mental models -- figuring out how designs can work with user perceptions and behavioral patterns to most closely align with abilities and expectations. Integrating accessibility practices to create inclusive designs is the last piece of the puzzle I love solving for!
