Summary
While I was hired as a UX Architect at Mobiquity, I immediately volunteered to work on accessibility and inclusive design elements given my background in the space. This quickly turned into running accessibility testing for all projects and documenting accessibility standards for all the delivery teams at the company. My delivery on these fronts quickly turned from a part-time assignment to a promotion to a newly created role of Lead Accessibility Designer. Under this new role, I worked across departments ensuring ADA and WCAG standards were met and exceeded, focusing on inclusive design that combined accessible experience with optimized general user experience.
My outlined standards were utilized across the company, for projects across the US, Europe, and South America - aligned for individual accessibility laws in each client's country.
Highlights include creation and running of yearly accessibility trainings and running stakeholder alignment and planning workshops for clients.
